Strategic Approach

Carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of National Education, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Limak Foundation, the Türkiye'nin Mühendis Kızları High School Program ("Turkey's Girl Engineers") was launched to draw attention to gender inequality in the engineering profession and to unlock the professional potential of young women. The project aimed to help 10th and 11th grade female students overcome professional biases and strengthen their awareness of the engineering field.

Social Impact Model

Interactive activities and training sessions were held for students as part of the program; the engineering profession was introduced through role-model meetings, awareness games, case studies, and virtual reality applications. Information and awareness sessions for teachers and parents extended the learning process from school into the family environment.

Measurement and evaluation results showed a meaningful increase in the proportion of female students who consider engineering a career option among their professional preferences.
