Strategic Approach
The Dijital Benim İşim (“My Job Is Digital”) Project was launched to support women in participating more strongly in social and economic life by introducing them to the digital world. The goal was for women to acquire digital skills, gain the confidence to participate in production and the workforce, and access new opportunities that could transform their lives.
Social Impact Model
Carried out in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and the Vodafone Turkey Foundation, the project provided women with training in Digital Literacy, Digital Marketing, and Introduction to the Digital World at public education centers, strengthening women’s access to the digital world and their competencies in this field. This process evolved into a tangible empowerment experience that supported women in building self-confidence, participating more actively in social life, and moving toward economic production.
Following a seminar program specifically designed for the conditions of the earthquake-affected region, and work carried out in digital classrooms established there, the “Digital Marketing Campaign Competition” gave women the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills they had gained into practice. With the lifeline grant support (“can suyu” support) provided within the competition and the mentoring contribution of Vodafone volunteers, the project created a psychosocial foundation of solidarity that supported the re-entry of earthquake-affected women into production.
To demonstrate the project’s impact, the social impact report analyzed its multidimensional effects by evaluating quantitative data collected from stakeholders together with qualitative findings obtained from in-depth interviews. The SROI analysis for the project’s most recent period calculated that every TRY 1 invested generated TRY 15.73 in social return. Over the 6-year period, the project generated more than TRY 123 million in total social value.
