Strategic Approach
Can Dostları Hareketi is a school-based education project carried out within the scope of the Traffic Responsibility Movement, aiming to build traffic safety awareness and develop responsible traffic behavior among primary-school-age children, teachers, parents, and school bus drivers.
Social Impact Model
Carried out in partnership with the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, with the support of TÜVTÜRK, the project has implemented teacher training sessions, student activities, and initiatives that strengthen interaction between parents and school bus drivers.
Carried out through the school structure, these efforts have contributed to the early development of traffic safety behaviors in children, and, through students, have supported the development of safe behaviors among parents and school bus drivers as well. Can Dostları Hareketi has been implemented as a sustainable and widely adopted model for child-focused traffic safety education in Turkey.
