Strategic Approach
The Safe Vehicle Movement (Güvenli Taşıt Hareketi) is a sub-project under the Traffic Responsibility Movement that addresses vehicle safety as one of the core elements of responsibility in traffic.
Social Impact Model
Carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, in cooperation with TÜVTÜRK and the Turkish Federation of Drivers and Automobile Owners (TŞOF), the project was implemented through an integrated model that strengthened safe driving awareness via two complementary channels.
Awareness of vehicle safety and driving responsibility was raised among commercial vehicle drivers through training and information sessions; mobile training trucks stationed in city squares featured simulation areas where citizens could learn about seatbelt use, the effects of alcohol, and safe driving behaviors through hands-on experience.
This dual-channel model, targeting both the general public and commercial vehicle drivers, contributed to building widespread awareness that treats vehicle safety as part of everyday behavior.
